I will continue to watch Grey's Anatomy until its final episode airs...however many seasons it happens to take. Sadly, it is highly unlikely that it will ever get back to the strength of Season 2. Season 1 was an amazing start, and Season 2 was Grey's at its absolute best. The writing was phenomenal, the medical cases were interesting, and the doctors' personal lives were woven into the plot without being too over-the-top. The drama was solid, but not the occasionally overbearing soap opera that it has since become. Season 2 reminds me of some of Grey's finest moments. Addison Montgomery's re-entrance into Derek's world, and the promise of strain that it brought upon his relationship with Meredith. The devastating train wreck with two strangers literally stuck together by a metal pole. A surprise pregnancy with one of the interns that ended very, very badly, and a pregnancy for another main character that came out of very difficult circumstances. The infamous "code black" emergency at Seattle Grace; the mother of triplet boys who became pregnant with quintuplet girls; and of course, in two words, Denny Duquette. One of the greatest and most recognizable romances in Grey's history, and you get to witness it all in the final episodes of Season 2. As you can see, I cannot possibly recommend this season enough. If you haven't gotten into the show yet, you absolutely need to start with Season 1. When followed closely by the magic of Season 2, you'll quickly see how the amazing skill of the writers--not to mention the talent and versatality of the cast--made this one of the most talked-about and addictive television dramas of our time. Gotta love it!
