I watched this movie over 15 years ago and I still think about it today. Powerful.

Incredibly powerful movie from one of most talented french movie makers, Mathieu Kassovitz. Through the story of these 3 friends and their daily life in this difficult environment, the movie paints a very realistic picture of the french suburbs surrounding Paris. Still very much applicable to current days, this movie never gets old, the black & white picture amplifies the strength of the story. Well written, the movie was also the revelation for Vincent Cassel. A must see, a classic of the modern french cinema.
